The term "terrorism" is used and interpreted in many different ways--leading to significant implications for developing policy, conducting intelligence analysis, and the public's understanding and response to threats. In this lunchtime session, we'll discuss some of the definitions of the term, how it is (mis)used and how to evaluate incidents to determine whether they should be categorized as terrorism.
