The Professional Security Studies Department at New Jersey City University (NJCU) will hold its 8th Northeast Regional Security Education Symposium on Thursday, July 9th from 9am-12pm. The theme of this year’s Symposium is Intelligence Excellence: The Value of Diversity and Cultural Insight. The annual Symposium brings together leading experts, faculty members, alumni and students in a discussion of urgent security issues and provides significant networking opportunities. It also features a research poster session by candidates from NJCU’s D.Sc. in Civil Security Leadership, Management and Policy degree program.
Event speakers include: Lynne Clark, Deputy Chief of the Center for Education Outreach and Innovation at the National Cryptologic School, NSA, and Program Office Manager for the NSA/DHS National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (CAE-C); Major Dan Engelhardt, and Lieutenant Mark Finnegan, New Jersey State Police; and Tsedey Berhanu, IC Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity, Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
