Study Abroad Stipends: The student's study abroad experience must focus on cultural immersion, language development, area/regional studies, and/or national security and intelligence studies. The study abroad experience must be a minimum of four weeks to qualify.
Research Stipends: Students conducting academic research related to intelligence/national security are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
Professional Development Stipends: Students encouraged to seek professional development opportunities, including attendance at intelligence or technology related workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. Students are also encouraged to present their research at such events. Examples of eligible funding requests include conference registration fees, transportation costs, and lodging.
Internship Stipends: Funding is available for students who have secured internships within the federal Intelligence Community. The funding is intended to help defray student expenses incurred during the internship semester. Examples include transportation costs and living expenses.
These opportunities are open to Rutgers, Borough of Manhattan College, City College of New York, and New Jersey City University students. Due to the source of funding, applicants must be United States citizens to be eligible for these awards.
